Ernest Hemingway
As one of the most important Modernist writer of the early 20th century, Ernest Hemingway had a tremendous impact on writers who followed him. In addition, he became a celebrity in his own time, the literary equivalent of a rock star of today. And like many rock stars, his life ended abruptly.
